Russell has a wealth of experience in the field of sports performance training, both team training and specialized personal training within a variety of fitness settings. He has worked within sport medicine programs helping facilitate athletic rehabilitation. He has developed and implemented strength and conditioning programs at both the high school and collegiate levels. He has also started up developmental and competitive weightlifting clubs.
In addition to receiving a bachelor degree in Applied Exercises Science from Azusa Pacific University he has also completed numerous continuing education certifications including CSCS, USAW, CES and FMS.English
