- Personal Trainer
Sven Manseau is a Strength and Mobility Engineer. He has been physically active in sports from an early age, competing in martial arts since he was 9 years old. This interest continued as he became an assistant instructor as a 13 year old brown belt. Shortly after, his focus changed to kickboxing. When he was 13, he began training in kickboxing, competing in bouts until he entered the military when he was 17.
In the military, Sven was able to combine his love of physical training and activity with his inherent sense of duty and joined the Army as a Military Police Officer, completing multiple deployments overseas. In the military, Sven saw the advantage that strength training and conditioning played in accelerating his ability in the martial arts, in his job performance and in the fulfillment of life in general.
After leaving the military as a Staff Sergeant, he entered Cal State University, Northridge earning a B.S. in Kinesiology (the study of human movement and performance). He also obtained the top physical training certification; NSCA's CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and has worked as a Mater Trainer.
Sven has a broad background in the fields of health, fitness, nutrition, and exercise in both commercial clubs and rehabilitation facilities and now brings this experience to his new position as Clinical Integration Coordinator at HMF & H. He states, "Movement and strength are the main vehicles he uses in increasing physical freedom and improving the quality of life for his clients." Movement and Strength are the cornerstones of his passion.English
