Here at Community Education we are always working to support prevention and management of chronic health conditions and now is an important time to reduce your risk. As we continue living with Covid-19 in our community, more collected data shows specific pre-existing conditions, such as diabetes or having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, place an individual at increased risk for a more severe reaction should they become infected.

Community Education dietitian, nurse, and health educator staff offer a variety of programs to support healthy weight loss and improved blood sugar control. While changing our health takes time, all it takes is one small step in the right direction. We are experts at getting you back on track. Attending our Diabetes Self-Management Education series, our Healthy Weight workshop, Type-Wonderful support group and other classes can help you take that first step towards reducing your risk.
