In March, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is proud to present CARE SCV. Providing the latest in cancer research, treatment and prevention, we are excited to present a panel of experts to discuss the latest in cancer prevention and recovery. Lifestyle factors are an important area of research and the way individuals can make choices to limit their cancer risk. An excellent resource is the World Cancer Research Fund and American Institute for Cancer Research Continuous Update Project, or CUP. They have created cancer prevention recommendations based on a review of all the available data to date. Take a look at their recommendations at this link, https://www.wcrf.org/dietandcancer/cancer-prevention-recommendations, and see what steps you can take to limit your risk. Limiting red and processed meat and moving more and sitting less are just two of their recommendations. To learn more, join us at CARE SCV on Saturday March 7th, from 8am-12:30pm.
